I now also have access to a photography studio in Taufkirchen-Vils, in the Erding district – a wonderful opportunity that came about by chance.

The idea developed quite naturally. After joining the Vitalis Fitness Center, we started talking to one of the trainers. It turned out that, alongside her work as a fitness trainer, she is also a qualified hair stylist and make-up artist. We soon had the idea of organising a photo shoot in the Taufkirchen area.

She mentioned that suitable rooms were available at the rear of the fitness centre and suggested that I take a look. I was immediately impressed: the rooms are spacious, filled with natural light, and have their own separate entrance. Together with the owners of the fitness centre, I was able to make an arrangement that allows me to use these rooms for future studio shoots.

One particular advantage is the studio’s direct connection to the fitness centre. In addition to the separate entrance, the sanitary facilities, showers and changing rooms can also be used when needed. I have also created a separate area within the studio where models can change in privacy. Professional hair and make-up support can, of course, be arranged as well.

I have included photographs of both the studio and the Vitalis Fitness Center with this article. They provide an initial impression of what to expect when booking a studio shoot with me.

The studio is located on Hauptstraße in 84416 Taufkirchen-Vils. Public transport connections to Taufkirchen-Vils are unfortunately limited. However, there is a regular train service from Munich to Dorfen. For several shoots so far, I have collected participants directly from Dorfen station, taken them to the studio, and driven them back afterwards.

Arriving by car is straightforward, with plenty of parking available directly outside the building. Whether you travel by train or by car, I am sure we can find a convenient arrangement when planning a production together.

It was probably time for a change. My online presence had taken a bit of a back seat in recent years—but retirement has a way of keeping you busy, too.

It all started quite innocently: with a simple plan to tidy up my computer, with a little help from ChatGPT. That led to the idea of creating an archive of my photographic work. Suddenly, I found myself spending six weeks reviewing images, organising productions, and rediscovering memories. And the archive just kept growing.

From 2009 to today, in 2026, I have created 576 productions containing 214,300 images. I’ve had the pleasure of working with 452 people, resulting in 495 publications and 89 covers. Even I was surprised by those numbers. When you are fully immersed in your work, you often don’t realise how much has accumulated over the years.

In 2024, another major change followed: we moved back to Germany, to our old home near Munich. Leaving Zurich was not easy, but we have settled in again—and I even have my own studio once more.

The new archive was never meant to live only on my hard drive. I wanted to use it to create stories and revisit publications, then share them on my website. That became the starting point for a complete redesign of this site.

Not every year is visible in the online archive just yet, but the structure is in place. At the moment, you can explore the years from 2022 to 2026; the older productions will follow step by step.

I hope you’ll find a story or two while browsing—something that catches your eye, brings back a memory, or inspires you.

So, what comes next? I will continue creating photographic productions, but with a new focus. I want to develop the artistic and creative side of my work further, and I’m currently looking for people who would like to be part of that journey. There is still so much to discover, and that is exactly what I want to explore and bring to life.
