An exclusive fashion production at Hotel Storchen Zurich, a striking setting above the Limmat River, and images that remained in the archive for years. The cover shoot with Edamey Hugentobler is now being shown for the first time.
Sometimes, you invest a great deal of heart and dedication in a production – only for it to take a completely different turn in the end.
For this cover shoot, we worked with Edamey Hugentobler and a dedicated team at Hotel Storchen Zurich. Situated directly on the Limmat River, this historic hotel is one of the city’s most beautiful locations. We were given a suite with a balcony, offering an impressive view across Zurich and a truly special setting for our fashion photographs.
Edamey presented several exclusive fashion looks, complemented by professional hair styling and make-up. The entire production was created for a new magazine that was intended to establish itself in Zurich. The images had been completed and approved when we received the disappointing news: the magazine had decided not to launch in Switzerland, and therefore not in Zurich.
As a result, the production initially lost the platform it had been created for. With heavy hearts, we decided not to publish the photographs at that time. Since then, this exceptional material has remained in the archive.
But it would be a shame for these images never to be seen. They tell the story of a special location, a wonderful team, and a memorable collaboration with Edamey Hugentobler. We are therefore delighted to share them now, and hope you enjoy viewing them.
